So what is the MetaVerse? simple put without all the jargon it’s the virtual reality world of the internet. To experience it all you need is VR virtual reality headset. In the virtual world, you create a virtual life, so there is a digital currency, virtual goods, games, places to go and etc. Some may say that sounds like a game??? I want to stay in the real world? And you can, but for those born in the era of tech, this generation will be utilizing the metaverse as their “known internet” just like when dial-up internet came and people were like I’m not getting on that internet. Now, look….your grandma on Facebook and Instagram. The metaverse is the NEW INTERNET for the new generation.

Whys is it called the METAVERSE and not the INTERNET? Well in my definition you can’t call it the internet because the internet is an interconnection network on a certain type of technology. How the Metaverse is structured is not built on that old technology. So that’s settled we can’t call it INTERNET (technically). You think about the METAVERSE, the word VERSE from the word universe. You know the universe it is ALL everything under the UNI-(one) verse. The meta-VERSE is a within part of the UNIVERSE, the simulated portion so META- VERSE. The simulated (meta) of the universe (verse) we call it METAVERSE.
